William “Billy” Bruce McMahan, widower of Frances Jean Pitts McMahan, departed this life unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, February 9, 2020, having attained the age of 90 years. He was born on May 9, 1930, in Paris, the son of the late Garland McMahan and Gertrude Stone McMahan, was a graduate of Paris High School, retired, having worked at Hansley Mill and Bluegrass Industries, and a member of First Baptist Church. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas R. McMahan.

Surviving are two daughters, Laura (George) Bills, Cathy (Bruce) Jones; two grandsons, Ashleigh Bills (Stephanie Conrad), and Marty Dylan Jones. Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Doris McMahan; a niece Stacey and a nephew Todd.

The graveside service for William “Billy” Bruce McMahan will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Paris Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Don Reed officiating.
