Wilma Sue Cord of Paris, departed this life on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, in Stanford, Kentucky, having attained the age of 66 years. She was born on April 14, 1953, the daughter of the late Reynolds and Mae Crump Fite in Paris, was a 1971 graduate of Paris High School and was retired, having worked at Kentucky Textiles. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Chuck Cord.

Surviving are two children, David Cord and wife Crystal of Harriman, Tennessee and Christy Ratliff and husband Dave of Stanford, Kentucky. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Nicklas Cord, Zachary Cord, Aiden Cord, Mona Lloyd (Eli), Denver Ratliff, Levi Ratliff and Luke Ratliff; as well as two sisters, Shirley Cameron and Elsie Duff (Mike).

The funeral service for Wilma Sue Cord will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Hospice Chaplain Rick Snyder officiating. Interment will follow in Paris Cemetery with casket bearers being, Nicklas Cord, Zachary Cord, Aiden Cord, Denver Ratliff, Levi Ratliff, Luke Ratliff, David Cord and Dave Ratliff. The family request visitation to begin after 11:00 a.m. until time for the service.
