Adrian "Dunor" Smits Jr., 56, Victory Lane, a driver for John O. Smits Trucking, husband of Sandy Workman Smits, died Friday, January 28, 2011 at Bourbon Community Hospital. He was born March 11, 1954 in Paris, son of Barbara Scott Yazell, Paris, and the late Adrian Smits Sr. Dunor is also survived by a daughter, Adrienne Farrah Manley, Owingsville; a stepson, Sargent Mark Daniel Easley, Fort Campbell; two grandchildren, Shelby Kate Manley, Tyler Joseph Manley; a step granddaughter, Allison Easley; two brothers, John O. (Beverly) Smits, Paris, Anthony Erwin "Tony" (Mary Beth) Smits, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Chaplain Peter Stephens with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Neal Smits, Travis Smits, Sgt. Mark Easley, Timothy Curtis, Christopher Smits, Kenneth Tipton, and Melvin Mynear. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday.
