Amanda Gail Pickrell, 31, Arlington Drive, died Saturday, October 8, 2011. She was born April 8, 1980 in Lexington, daughter of Kay (Tony) Denniston, Paris, and Ed Pickrell (Beverly McDaniel), Bracken County, a graduate of Bourbon County High School, and was attending Spencerian College. In addition to her parents, Mandy is also survived by a sister, Melissa (Jon) Davis, Gallipolis, OH; a special niece and nephew, Maggie and Logan Davis; maternal grandparents, Ina and Keith McCord; maternal great grandmother, Nora Hargett; paternal grandfather, Donald Pickrell; and several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Margaret Pickrell. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 13, at First Christian Church by Rev. Jeff Bell with burial at 12:30 p.m. in Sharon Cemetery, Bracken County. Casket bearers will be Ed Pickrell, Jon Davis, Jeff McCord, Jody McCord, Kevin McCord, and Bobby Trefilek. Honorary bearers will be Trey Collins, Ryan Garrison, Jackie Noble, Eric Toohey, and Sam Lawson. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Memorials are suggested to The Well or one's favorite charity.
