ANNA DALE JOHNSON, 71, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, departed this life Saturday, April 5, 2008. She had been hospitalized since February 25 and was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. She was born August 20, 1936 to the late Delaney Scott and William Stanley Scott. She was graduate of Bourbon County High School, class of 1954, and a retired IBM employee. She currently resided in Lexington, but lived in Paris for many years. She leaves behind a husband, Dabney Johnson, Lexington; two daughters Debbie (Larry) Sturgill, Paris, and Anna Lloyd, Lexington; a grandson, Patrick Lloyd, Lexington; a brother, Billy (Jean) Scott, Camargo; and faithful Labrador, Rusty. She is also survived by several nieces and other family members. Funeral services will be held at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, 10:30 am, Tuesday, performed by Reverend Aaron Ranson of Southland Christian Church. Interment will be in the Paris Cemetery, Serving as casket bearers will be Clyde D. Wise, David Burdine, Ray Cox, Jim Clifton, James Land, and Skip Gladfelter. Honorary bearers will be Bill Johnson, Nicholas Bromagen, and Dr. John Gohmann. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and caregivers at Central Baptist Hospital-from Five Main and North and Palliative Care, as well as everyone at the Hospice Care Center at St. Joseph Hospital. The special care and comfort you showered our loves one with will stay with us forever. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Hospice of the Bluegrass.Visitaion from 6 to 8pm Monday at the funeral home
