Barbara Sue Fightmaster, 50, Horseshoe Drive, wife of Steve Fightmaster, died Monday, April 26, 2010 at Central Baptist Hospital. She was born April 14, 1960 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late James Roy and Helen Flannery Bassett and was a graduate of Henry Clay High School. Barbara is also survived by a son, Joshua Ussery Fightmaster; a daughter, Amanda Jo (Matt) Buckler, both of Paris; a grandson, Ussery Daniel Fightmaster, Aberdeen, OH; and two sisters, Bonnie Jo (James) Davy, Indianapolis, IN and Becky Bassett, Paris. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 30, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. David Casey with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Gary Garrison, Mike McFarland, Don Kerby, Jonathan Fightmaster, Josh Ownby, and Odis Carroll. Honorary bearers will be Dr. Robert Biddle, Dr. Anthony Roger, Dr. Gary Earle, Dr. Marta Haynes, Dr. Russell Eldridge, and Dr. Randy Thompson. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Memorials are suggested to American Lung Association.
