Barbara Campbell Tobin, 81, Springhill Drive, widow of James C. Tobin, died Monday, March 1, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born November 22, 1928 in Paris, daughter of the late Herbert C. and Christine Florence Campbell, a graduate of Paris High School, and was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was a member of the GEMS. Barbara was a beloved mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her two sons, Stephen (Kathy) Tobin, Paris, Herb "Toby" (Sharron) Tobin, Casa Grande, AZ; four grandchildren, Alissa Tobin Fomas, Jennifer Tobin, Caitlin Tobin, Pennie (Lou) Hausele; a sister, Helen Wallace, Paris; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cecilia Ann Tobin; and a granddaughter, Tara Kate Current. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 5, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Jerry Williams and Rev. John Curtis with burial in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Lou Hausele, Tommy Tobin, Ralph Tobin, Pat Nichols, Charles Fryman, and Woody Florence. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church or St. Mary's School Endowment Fund.
