Betty Ann Mann Sosby, 83, Parrish Avenue, widow of James Michael Sosby, died Monday, October 3, 2011 at her home. She was born November 26, 1927 in Paris, daughter of the late Everett and Mary Ann Ewalt Mann. Betty is survived by a daughter, Mary Nell Sosby, Paris; four sons, James Michael (Pam) Sosby, Paris, William Patrick Sosby, Lexington, Brian Anthony Sosby, Lexington, Wendell Gayle (Brenda) Sosby, Paris; two sisters, Nettie Jones, Elizabethtown, Bonnie Jackson, Titusville, FL; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Snapp; and a brother, June Mann. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, graveside at Evergreen Memory Gardens by Nesmer Cook. Casket bearers will be Michael Snapp, Robert Snapp, Christopher Garrett, Ricky Creech, Jamie McClanahan, and Jeremy Mattingly. There will be no visitation.
