Betty Jo Burton, 59, died Friday, October 28, 2011. She was born August 8, 1952 in Paris, daughter of Ralph E. Burton, Lexington, and the late Jane Pridemore Burton. Betty Jo was a 1970 graduate of Paris High School, and attended Morrison Business School, Glasgow. In addition to her father, she is survived by two brothers, Robert F. (DiaNell) Burton, Lexington, Stephen D. Burton, Greenville, NC; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 31, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, Paris, by Rev. David Smith and Bro. Michael Richey with burial in Paris Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
