Betty Biddle Jones, 80, a farmer and quilter, widow of Huston Jones, died peacefully Friday, October 01, 2010 at the family farm. She was born February 18, 1930 in Fayette County, daughter of the late George Robert and Jennie Clemmons Biddle, attended Fayette County schools, and was a member of Clintonville Christian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Jeanne (Harry) Bellamy, Huntsville, AL, Marty (Henry) Salyer, Bourbon County; a son, Steve Jones and Polly Hilliard, Bourbon County; five grandchildren, Angela Mello, Justin (Sarah) Jones, Megan Salyer, Andrea Salyer, Zachary Jones and a great grandchild, Baby Jax Jones. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, at the Clintonville Cemetery by Rev. Charles H. Kemp. Casket bearers will be Justin Jones, Zach Jones, Charlie Farmer, Billy Biddle, Chris Jones, and Henry Salyer. Her granddaughters will serve as honorary bearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
