Betty Loraine Roberts, 74, widow of John Roberts, died Friday, October 28, 2011 at Bradford Square Nursing Home in Frankfort. She was born September 19, 1937 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late J.W. and Fannie Riggs Roberts. She is survived by a daughter, Faye Gilliam (Charles Williams), Paris; four sons, Gordon R. (Glenna) Gilliam, Lexington, James D. Gilliam, Georgetown, Billy D. (Linda) Gilliam, Lexington, Thomas D. (Kizzie) Gilliam; a brother, J.W. Roberts Jr., Monticello; a sister, Lula Mynear, Richmond; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Bobby Stone with burial in Old Union Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Justin Gilliam, Travis Gilliam, Charles Williams, and Kelly Pennington. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday.
