Betty Jo Stocker, 75, wife of Wayne Stocker, died Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Hospice Care Center, Lexington. She was born June 27, 1940 in Fort Knox, Kentucky, daughter of the late Charlie and Pauline Burnett Brown. Betty was a graduate of Leitchfield High School, a member of the Bourbon County Homemakers, served as a volunteer for Hospice of the Bluegrass in Cynthiana, a member of the Dulcimer Dames, and was a member of Paris First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Amie and Brian Boyle; a granddaughter, Taylor Marie Robinson; and a step grandson, Coleman Boyle. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Chaplain Jimmy Harrison with burial in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Brian Boyle, Coleman Boyle, Tommy Adkins, Jerry Doolin, Jerry Carter, and Danny Stocker. Honorary bearers will be Edmond Boyle, Benton Day, Jimmy Roundtree, and Jim Barker. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
