Billie Irene Minnick, 82, Hume Bedford Road., widow of Charles Edward Minnick, died Thursday, October 9, 2009 at the Central Baptist Hospital. She was born October 6, 1927 in Bluefield, WV, daughter of the late Martin Luther and Bessie Aliff Williams, attended Bluefield College, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, David W. Minnick, Stephen E. (Laura) Minnick; a granddaughter, Erica Minnick; a grandson, David T. "Dusty" Minnick; a great grandson, Thomas L. Minnick; and life long friend, Thomas Poole. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation.
