Billy S. Oldson, 86, West Seventh Street, a truck driver, U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II, widower of June Eden Oldson, died Tuesday, June 19, 2007. He was born November 6, 1920 in Bourbon County, son of the late Strawder and Rosa Lee Campbell Oldson, and attended North Middletown School. Billy is survived by two daughters, Judy Parsons, Sharon Abrams, both of Paris; six grandchildren, Thad (Stephanie) Parsons, Paris, Todd (Heather) Parsons, Paris, Michael (Camill) Mitchell, Paris, Laura (James) Stoy, Germany, Eden Abrams, Paris, Beth Mitchell, Paris; eight great grandchildren, Alex Parsons, Jacob Parsons, Savannah Parsons, Hannah June Parsons, Thomas Brent Parsons, Emily Grace Stoy, Michael Allen Lanter, Vincent Layne Mitchell; a special niece, Sonja Oldson Gaitskill, Lexington; and a special dear friend, Beulah Moore, Paris, and her late husband, Buddy Moore. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Billy June Buckler; a sister, Gladys Pence; and two brothers, Keller and Bob Oldson. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Bro. Taylor Orvil with interment in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Thad Parsons, Todd Parsons, Michael Mitchell, John McCoy, Roy Parks, and Karl Curtsinger. Mr. Oldson's great grandchildren will serve as honorary bearers. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday.
