Brenda Allison Waters, 66, Creekview Drive, retired employee of the Bourbon County school system, wife of Doris Gene Waters Sr., died Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Hospice Care Center. She was born June 21, 1944 in Nicholas County, daughter of the late James Carl and Hazel Livengood Hubbard, a graduate of Nicholas County High School and Morehead State University, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She is also survived by three sons, Darrell (Paula) Allison, Ballard, WV, Brian (Charlotte) Allison, David (Janet) Allison, both of Carlisle; three grandchildren, Paige, Kevin, and Ethan Allison; a sister, Peggy Hubbard, Florence; two brothers, William E. Hubbard, Lexington, Danny Hubbard, Phoenix, AZ; four stepchildren, Diana Morgan, Doris Gene Waters Jr., Paula Sexton, Cindy White; seven step grandchildren; and seven step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 4, at the First United Methodist Church by Rev. Jerri Williams and Rev. Fred Livengood with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Kevin Allison, Clay Livengood, Tommy Livengood, Joe Morgan, Doris Waters Jr., and John White. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass or First United Methodist Church.
