Carl Edward Diedrich, 58, Palumbo Drive, Lexington, retired auto mechanic, widower of Kathy Floyd Diedrich, died Thursday, June 23, 2011 at University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was born September 18, 1952 in Camp Lejeune, NC, son of Mary Ann Lykins Stakelin, Lexington, and the late Harry Francis Diedrich. In addition to his mother, Carl is survived by a daughter, Melissa (Nicholas) Diedrich-Kowal, Lexington; a sister, Marygene (Michael) Menke, Weatherford, TX; and several nieces and nephews. There are no services or visitation scheduled.
