Carol Ann Million Crossfield, 61, Betty Drive, wife of Bill Crossfield, died Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at Houston Hospice in Houston, Texas. She was born October 23, 1946 in Millersburg, daughter of the late Rufus and Katherine Newton Million, a graduate of Bourbon County High School, and attended Fugazzi Business College. Carol was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) where she was a member of the choir. She is also survived by two daughters, Heather (Bill) McCord, Nashville, TN, Lauren Crossfield (Josh Melvin), Richmond; two grandsons, Quinn and Sam McCord; a brother, Frank (Tracie) Million, Houston, TX; and a sister, Millie (Everett) Fryman, Campbell County. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) by Rev. Jeff Bell with interment in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Casket bearers will be Josh Melvin, Josh Million, Bill McCord, Scott Million, Gayle Crossfield, and Jason Crossfield. Honorary bearers will be members of the First Christian Church Choir, Dr. Roberta Allison, Dr. James L. Ferrell, Dr. Scott Pierce, and Dr. Ping Chu. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the church. Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
