Carol "Kay" Fryman, 50, Parkside Drive, long time Bourbon County Deputy Sheriff, wife of Mike Fryman, died Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Bourbon Community Hospital. She was born May 14, 1957 in Bourbon County, daughter of Louise Puckett Blades, Paris, and the late Ussery C. Myers. Kay was a graduate of Paris High School and the Sheriff's Academy and was a member of River of Life Ministries. She is also survived by a daughter, Michelle Leigh "Micki" (Chad) Biddle, Louisville; and three sisters, Jo Ann (David) Terry, Mount Sterling, Robin Blades, Paris, and Pam (Jerry, Jr.) Barnes, Paris. A sister, Donzetta Kookendoffer, preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 25, at the Central Baptist Church by Dr. Morgan Gilkey, Rev. Dennis Peace, Pastor Krista Hampton, and Rev. Dan Russell. Visitation will be 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation, 250 East Liberty Street, Suite 710, Louisville, KY 40202-1537.
