Carol Lee Laytart, 70, a retired quality control inspector for Mallinckrodt, died Monday, September 1, 2014 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born June 7, 1944 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late Louis Carlton and Dora Bell Wagoner Dutton. Carol was a 1962 graduate of Bourbon County High School and was a member of Silas Baptist Church. She is survived by two sisters, Ann Dutton, Kissimmee, Florida, Judy Duvall, Lexington; a brother, Louis (Mable) Dutton Jr., Bourbon County; several nieces and nephews; a grandniece; and a grandnephew. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 6, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Curtis Coots with burial in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Louis Dutton III, Eric Dutton, Andrew Dutton, Buddy Famous, Carlton Duvall, and Harry Laytart. Honorary bearers will be Alex Dutton, Emily Dutton, Katie Duvall, James Stanfield, Timmy Roe, Steve Roe, Harold Puckett, Brenda Fletcher, Taru Dutton, Marissa Dutton, and Deacons of Silas Baptist Church. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Saturday. Memorials are suggested to Silas Baptist Church.
