Charles "Red" Bartlett, 71, North Middletown Road, husband of Ruth Perry Bartlett, died Friday, July 23, 2010 at his home. He was born December 14, 1938 in Maysville, son of Katherine Purcell Bartlett, Paris, and the late Earl Bartlett. In addition to his wife and mother, he is also survived by two sons, Timothy W. Bartlett, Morgan County, Charles E. Bartlett, Bourbon County; two special loving daughters-in-law, Loretta Bartlett, Christy Bartlett; four grandchildren, Alicia Bartlett, Amanda Bartlett, Rachel Bartlett, Gavin Bartlett; a great grandson, Trevor Scott Wells; and five sisters, Margaret (Billy) Kissick, Janet (Sam) Scott, Sue (Harold) Davis, Peggy Holder, and Pat Boot, all of Paris. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Larry Oliver, Milton Wolfenbarger, Gary Caskey, Scotty Perry, C.D. Honaker, Larry Webb, Kevin Cloyd, and Eric Kissick. Honorary bearers will be Judge Donnie Foley, Pierce Webb, Tommy Johnson, Tommy Mattox, Junior Hunt, Mark Scenters, David Griffith, Wendell Faulkner, Floyd Davis, and Shirley Brewer. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
