Charles Edward Tubbs, 79, High Street, retired maintenance worker, widower of Margaret Ann Rice Tubbs, died Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at his home. He was born November 29, 1931 in Bourbon County, son of the late George Ike and Lula Clay Willoughby Tubbs. He is survived by a daughter, Joyce (Dennis) Howard, Millersburg; two grandchildren, Tracy Bolton, Millersburg, Dennis Howard Jr., Gainesville, FL; a great grandson, Zachary Bolton; five sisters, Hazel Jefferson, Janelle Price, Jean Greenlee, Linda Young, Brenda Worthington, all of Paris; two brothers, Ronnie Tubbs, Virginia, Mitchell E. Tubbs, Little Rock; and a special friend, Betty McCormick. Funeral services will be conducted at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City, Florida with burial in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
