Charlotte Darlene Smith, 81, widow of William E. Smith, died Saturday, July 19, 2014, at University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born February 28, 1933 in Lovington, Illinois, daughter of the late William and Dorothy Davis Atchison. Charlotte was a kindergarten teacher aid in the Bourbon County School System and a member of the Clintonville Christian Church. She is survived by a son, Jeffrey D. (Donna) Smith; two granddaughters, Gracen L. and Skye N. Smith, all of Evansville Indiana; one brother, Robert D. (Mary) Atchison, Marion, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Clintonville Christian Church by Rev. Charles H. Kemp. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Deacons and Elders of the Clintonville Christian Church will serve as honorary bearers. On Thursday July 24, there will be a visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Christian Church in Lovington, Illinois with burial to follow in the Keller Cemetery in Lovington. Memorials are suggested to the Clintonville Christian Church Choir Fund
