Chester Lee Payne, 85, Holly Lane, retired farmer and landscaper, widow of Mary Price Payne, died Thursday, March 22, 2007 at his residence.He was born April 10, 1921 in Lexington, son of the late Sidney Thomas and Polly Cornett Payne. Mr. Payne is survived by two sons, Thomas Payne, Lexington, Chester Lee Payne, Jr., Newport; a brother, Sidney T. Payne, Las Vegas; and several grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at the Lexington Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
