Clara Roundtree, 89, retired employee of Bourbon County Hospital with thirty years of service, widow of Lee Roundtree, died Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Johnson Mathers Health Care, Carlisle. She is survived by three children, Jimmy (Kay) Roundtree, Paris, Faye (Bill) Storey, Harrodsburg, Helen (Jimmy) McGinley, Lexington; five grandchildren, Savana (Wayne) Rowe, Lexington, Lee Storey, Lexington, Joni (Brian) Cosgriff, Audubon, PA, Shannon Werner, Georgetown, Brian Roundtree, Louisville; and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. James Gaunce with interment in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Lee Storey, Brian Roundtree, Wes Rowe, Rob Cosgriff, Sean Cosgriff, Jimmy McIlvain, and John Vanlandingham. Honorary bearers will be Wayne Rowe and Brian Cosgriff. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions are suggested to Johnson Mathers Health Care Activities Fund, 2323 Concrete Road, Carlisle, KY 40311 or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
