Dale Marvin, 67, of Lexington, died Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Baptist Health Lexington. He was born July 29, 1947 in Lexington, son of the late Elizabeth "Lizzie" Smith Marvin. Dale was a resident of Paris, Kentucky the majority of his life, a graduate of Bourbon County High School, former employee of Smits Florist, Paris, and Employment Solutions, Lexington. He is survived by two nephews, Chris (Erin) Marvin, Eric (Sara) Marvin; three nieces; a nephew; an aunt, Inez Wilson; cousins, Dave (Linda) Johnson, Elaine Smith, Mike (Carol) Wilson; their children, Ashley and Matthew Wilson; a special friend, Mary Harris; as well as a number of other cousins. Dale was preceded in death by three brothers, Johnny K., Bobby, and Jimmy. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 6, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with burial in Paris Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
