David Malone Williams, Jr., 75, Clintonville Road, died Thursday, June 10, 2010. He was born July 26, 1934 in Memphis, TN, son of the late David M. and Sarah McDonald Williams. David was a graduate of Central High School, Memphis, Transylvania University, and Lexington Theological Seminary. He was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). He is survived by a daughter, Lynn Williams; a son, David M. Williams, III, both of Paris; and five sisters, Susan Farmer, Franklin, TN, Bonnie Regan, Germantown, TN, Joanie Phelan, Memphis, TN, Patsy Wilson, Nashville, TN, and Debbie Upton, Collierville, TN. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Dr. Henry Hanna. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
