Donald E. Biddle, 77, Squires Point Road, retired GTE cable supervisor, husband of Pauline Faulkner Biddle, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at Hospice Care Center. He was born January 1, 1934 in Fleming County, son of the late William E. and Adele Wilson Biddle. Donnie was a graduate of North Middletown High School and was a member of Spears Mill Baptist Church, North Middletown Community Club, and North Middletown Concerned Citizens Group. He is also survived by a brother, Gary Biddle, North Middletown; and two sisters, Helen B. (Charles) Jones, Bourbon County, and Debbie (Randy) Brooks, Lexington. He was preceded in death by a brother, Del Wayne Biddle Sr.; and a sister, Billie Sue Brainard. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 12, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Keith Biddle with burial in North Middletown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Ricky Biddle, Eric Biddle, D.W. Biddle, Gerald Faulkner, Jonathan Scott, Justice Scott, Richard LeMieux, and Wendell Faulkner. Honorary bearers will be Charles Johnston, Frank Lawrence, Rex Rawlings, Tommy Mattox, Bill Bradford, George Cook, Denny Ferrell, Dr. Robert Biddle, and Dr. Pamela Combs. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 Friday. Memorials suggested to North Middletown Cemetery.
