Duane Milton Rutherford, 48, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. He was born August 10, 1965 in Paris, son of Alma McCarty Rutherford and Dan Rutherford, both of Paris. In addition to his mother and father, Duane is survived by a son, Zachary Milton Rutherford, London; two daughters, Rebekah Rutherford, Paris, Brittney (Aaron) Young, Georgetown; his devoted girlfriend, Carolyn White; four grandchildren, Alexis Rutherford, Kenedie Nolan, Karter Shephard, Jesse Young; two brothers, Timothy Alan (Donna) Rutherford, Jerry Wayne Rutherford; four nieces, Tina Rutherford Johnson, Dana (Brian) Pagador, Amanda (Tony) Sibbach, Cherish Rutherford; and several great nieces, great nephews, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lottie and Carl McCarty and Rosa and Robert Rutherford. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Steven Scherer and Rev. Chuck Perry with burial in Clintonville Cemetery. Casket bearers will be James Arnold, Mark Tubbs, Mike Gilvin, Darrell Tubbs, Tim Conley, and Terry Feeback. Honorary bearers will be SAG members. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
