Elizabeth (Betty) Schuyler Denny Lipscombe, 81 widow of Thomas Friend Lipscombe passed away March 17, 2011 at Cedar Ridge Health Campus. She was the daughter of the late Schuyler and Anna Perkins Denny. She was piano teacher for 50 plus years. She is survived by a daughter Sally (James) Levi, Cynthiana, two sons Nathan Thomas Lipscombe, Paris and Denny Dupree Lipscombe, Cynthiana ; 5 grandchildren; Schuyler Thomas Lipscombe, Overland Park, KS, Sarah Elizabeth Levi, Lexington, Susan Hickman Levi, Cincinnati, OH, Mary Archer Levi, Lexington and James Miller Levi, Cynthiana and 2 great grandchildren; Isaiah Thomas Welch and Roman Christopher Welch. Funeral services 5:30 pm Saturday March 19, 2011 at The Bedford Acres Christian Church, visitation after 3:00pm Saturday at the church. Contributions may be made to Bedford Acres Christian Church, The Way or Cedar Ridge Health Campus.
