Flora Canetto Rockefeller, 89, Allen Drive, Lexington, retired bookkeeper for the City of Lexington, died Friday, November 27, 2009 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born March 5, 1920 in Craryville, NY, daughter of the late Raimondo and Paulina Gardeina Canetto and attended the University of Kentucky. She is survived by a daughter, Dorothea (Dennis) Alley, Maysville; two sons, Dale Rockefeller, Lexington, Duane (Rosemary) Rockefeller, Springfield, MO; three grandchildren, Jeff (Ada) Rockefeller, Greg (Beth) Rockefeller, Chris Alley; and five great grandchildren, Ben Rockefeller, Grant Rockefeller, Mia Rockefeller, Allan Rockefeller, and Lillie Rockefeller. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 30, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Paul Huff with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Sam Rhorer, Bill Rhorer, Duane Rockefeller, Dale Rockefeller, Daryl Gravitt, and Mark Rhorer. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Monday. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
