Florine Herrington, Sunny Hill Drive, North Middletown, retired nurse's aide, widow of Herman Herrington, died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at her home. She was born February 20, 1938 in Montgomery County, daughter of the late Sherman and Emma Hart Jones. Florine is survived by a daughter, Penney Vice, North Middletown; two grandchildren, Adam Vice, Tava Campbell; two great grandchildren, McKenzie and Kayla Shepherd; two brothers, Donald (Joyce) Jones, Kenneth (Wanda) Jones, both of Bourbon County; four sisters, Loretta (Marvin) Shelley, North Middletown, Betty (Paul) Fuller, Cynthiana, Wanda (Bruce) Bryant, Cynthiana, Vickie (Linville) Whitt, Paris; and several nieces and nephews. A son, Anthony \"Doonie\" Campbell, preceded her in death. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 7, at Evergreen Memory Gardens by Brother Cecil Wayne Curtis. Casket bearers will be Adam Vice, Ricky Shepherd, David Shelley, Ricky Jones, Donald Jones Jr., and Dale Osborne. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
