Frank Hasson Howard, 85, Winchester Street, retired Kentucky Department of Transportation heavy equipment operator, widower of Ida Perkins Howard, died Thursday, September 29, 2010 at his home. He was born November 10, 1924 in Fleming County, son of the late Silas Phillip and Amelia Hamilton Howard and was a member of First Church of God. Frank is survived by a stepdaughter, Brenda Reinart, Manchester, OH; a stepson, Robert (Shirley) Arnold, Shepherdsville; four sisters, Ruby (J.W.) DeAtley, Carlisle, Barbara Arnold, Paris, Geneva Howard, Paris, Margaret "Margo" (Carl) Liggett, Mt. Sterling; two brothers, Henry T. (Delorise) Howard, Paul (Patsy) Howard, both of Paris; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin and Orville Howard; two sisters, Edith Buzzard, Thelma McCord; two stepsons, Virgil and Billy Arnold; and a grandson, Billy Mitchell Arnold. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 7, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Timothy W. Pierce with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Allen DeAtley, Mike McCord, Timmy Howard, William Melvin Howard, Arthur Buzzard, Larry Buzzard, and Garry Buzzard. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
