Gary Eugene Brannock, 59, Walnut Grove Road, Carlisle, retired 3M employee, US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, husband of Linda Diane Shepherd Brannock, died Friday, January 22, 2010 at the UK Medical Center. He was born March 5, 1950 in Paris, son of Lois Dixon (Waldon) Pridemore, Cynthiana, and the late George William Brannock. He was a graduate of Bourbon County High School, attended Eastern Kentucky University, and was a member of Carlisle Christian Church and Quail Forever, Hinkson Chapter. He is also survived by four daughters, Ashley (Rick) Isaacs, Paris, Amanda (Jermie) Barnett, Millersburg, Kellie (Philip) Isaacs, Nicholas County, Katie (John) McCarty, Paris; eight grandchildren, Lillie Cox, Daniel Cox, Josie Isaacs, Seth Isaacs, Jordan Brody Isaacs, Jake Isaacs, Penelope Barnett, Jadin Isaacs; a brother, Steve (Amy) Brannock, Harrison County; two sisters, Cheryl Jackson, Paris, Lynn (Paul W.) Ellington, Harrison County; and his maternal grandmother, Mary Emma Patton, Carlisle. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, Paris, by Rev. Steve Smith with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Philip Isaacs, Jermie Barnett, John McCarty, Rick Isaacs, Anthony Crump, and Jamie Ellington. Honorary bearers will be Bill Padgett, Bobby Wiggins, Dallas Osborne, Jerry Brown, Paul Wayne Ellington, and members of Quail Forever, Hinkson Chapter. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday. Memorials are suggested to Carlisle Christian Church Building Fund.
