Geneva Hartman, 87, a retired bookkeeper for Bourbon Laundry, died Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born November 4, 1927 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late Rufus Miller and Blanche Jones Hartman. Geneva was a 1944 graduate of Center Hill School and was a member of Bluegrass Civitan Club and First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She is survived by a brother, Rufus (Lorie) Hartman Jr., Bourbon County; two sisters, Hazel Beatty, Bourbon County, Beulah (Jim) Greene, Fort Myers, Florida; an uncle, Mark (Beulah) Florence, Fleming County; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Jeff Bell. Inurnment will be in Peyton Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Thursday.
