Gilbert Ray Rogers, 74, of Lexington, died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born November 3, 1935 in Lexington, son of the late Stanley and Elizabeth Frances Trimble Rogers, a member of Clintonville Christian Church, and was an employee of Ky Welding Supply Co. for 27 years, where he was in charge of Sale and Welding Repairs. He is survived by ex -wife Nancy Mae Riggs Rogers, Lexington; two daughters, Elizabeth Frances (Ray) Webb, Nicholasville, Rebecca Elaine Rogers, Lexington; three sons, David Ray (ex-wife Tina) Rogers, Gerald Wayne Rogers, Walter Len Rogers, all of Lexington; a brother, Billy Rogers, Lexington; two sisters, Margaret (Bobby) DeMoss, Lexington, Bonnie (Woodie) Ritchie, Cynthiana; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren, and sister-in-law Bobbie Rogers, Lexington. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Rogers. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 4, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with entombment in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Joshua Lawson, Matthew Brewer, Seth Webb, Walter Rogers, Anthony Nativio, and David Rogers. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Monday.
