Hallie Spivey Linville, 97, a retired Kentucky Textiles supervisor, widow of Robert Linville, died Friday, June 12, 2015 at The Willows at Hamburg in Lexington. She was born September 14, 1917 in Estill County, daughter of the late Isaac and Sarah Ellen Rose Spivey. Mrs. Linville was a member of Paris Marie Chapter #167, Order of the Eastern Star and Paris Church of Christ. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy L. Marshall; two granddaughters, Linda Dawson, Cathy Dawson; two great grandchildren, April Dawson, Brandon Dawson; three great, great grandchildren, Cyanna Dawson, Kennley Dawson, Isaiah Dawson; and a sister, Virginia Crump. She was preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, at HintonTurner Funeral Home with burial in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Brandon Dawson, Mike Harbaugh, John Coleman, Cliff Shumate, Mark Bretz, and Jimmy Spivey. Honorary bearers will be Paul King, Danny Robinson, Dr. Murray West, Leslie Cook, Dr. Roy Ross, Henry Norris, Mark Terrell, and Frank Anderson. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.
