Helen Jane Harney, formerly of Millersburg, 81, widow of Clarence Wyles Harney, died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Bourbon Community Hospital. She was born September 9, 1929 in Nicholas County, daughter of the late Everett and Lorene Shannon George and was a member of the Millersburg First Christian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda (David) Craig, Linda (Ricky) Crump, both of Millersburg; six grandchildren, Helen Carol Stacey, Raylynn Puckett, Hadyn Dale (Heather) Crump, Ashley (Rick) Isaacs, Amanda (Jermie) Barnett, Amanda Warner; ten great grandchildren, Lillie Ann Cox, Daniel Lee Cox, Penelope Barnett, Seth Isaacs, Jake Isaacs, Rodney Michael Hatton, Taylor Luckhaupt, Justin Mynear, Cody Warner, Lukas Crump; a great, great granddaughter, Angela Raye Hatton; a brother, Everett (Gladys) George, Jr; special family members, Jack McElveen (Cheryl, Megan, and Allison); and other special family members, Katherine Elizabeth Wisz, Taylor Davenport, and Sara Madison Davenport. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. David Mefford with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Keith Waugh, Rick Isaacs, Alan Harney, Michael Harney, Jermie Barnett, and Joe Larry Eads. Honorary bearers will be Gary Small, Bill Padgett, Earl Waugh, and Allen Dale Scott. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials are suggested to Bourbon Heights.
