Henry Clay Berryman, 76, Main Street Millersburg, a farmer, husband on Minnie Snapp Berryman, died Friday, December 4 at the Bourbon Community Hospital. He was born February 9, 1933 in Bourbon County, son of the late Clarence and Martha Conkright Berryman and was a member and Deacon of Central Baptist Church. Clay is also survived by a daughter, Betsy (Albert) Mitchell, Paris; four grandchildren, Heather (Nathan) Overbeys, Lexington, Joshua Thomas (Rachel) Mitchell, Lexington, Jonathan Wayne Berryman, Lexington, Melissa Gail Berryman, Carlisle; two sisters, Elizabeth Whitaker, Paris, Lottie (James) Sebastian, Millersburg; two brothers, Joe (Virginia) Berryman, Glen (Wilma) Berryman, both of Paris; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Wayne Berryman; two brothers, Bill and Carl Berryman; and a sister, Carolyn Abner. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, at the Central Baptist Church by Rev. Dan Russell and Rev. Drew Martin with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Jonathan Berryman, Nathan Overbeys, Joshua Mitchell, Scott Edward Berryman, Kevin Berryman, Mike Berryman, Ronnie Berryman, and Robert Eskridge. Honorary bearers will be the Deacons of Central Baptist Church. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the church.
