Patty Cooper Prather, 70, Burris Road, retired Mallinckrodt employee, widow of John Burris Prather, died Saturday, April 28, 2007. She was born August 4, 1936 in Lexington, daughter of the late David and Dollie Boreland Cooper, and was a member of Little Rock Christian Church and the Little Rock Homemakers. Patty is survived by three daughters, Deborah P. (John, Sr.) Arnold, Montgomery County, Lois P. Hall, Bowling Green, Donna P. (Emmett) Davis, Bourbon County; five grandchildren, John Arnold, Jr., Shanna Arnold (Donny) Pennington, both of Montgomery County, Patricia Lynn Davis, Austin Reno Davis, both of Bourbon County, Lucas Prather Hall, Bowling Green; three great grandchildren, Dalton, Ethan, and Janie Lynn Pennington; two sisters, Jean Heaton, Columbus, OH, May (Kelly) Howard, Frankfort; and a brother, Robert (Lucy) Cooper, De Queen, AR. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Cooper, Jr.; and a sister, Agnes Cooper Stevens. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Rex Graham with interment in the North Middletown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be John Arnold, Sr., Emmett Davis, III, John Arnold, Jr., Austin Davis, Lucas Hall, and Donny Pennington. Honorary bearers will be Bourbon Heights Unit I staff, Sandy Elliott, Linda Soper, Harold Soper, Jean Soper, Sheila McConnell, and Karen Johnson. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday.
