James Patrick Brannon, 13, Fords Mill Road, student at Bourbon County Middle School, son of James Paul and Sheena Lynn Ishmael Brannon, died Sunday, February 18, 2007 at the UK Children's Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He is also survived by two sisters, Sarah Mae Logan Brannon, Paris, Keli Leigh (Timmy) Tucker, Bourbon County; paternal grandmother, Genevieve Brannon, Paris; maternal grandfather, Frankie Ishmael, Moorefield; three aunts, Rebecca Lawyer, Paris, BeBe Brannon, Paris, Leni Ishmael, Moorefield; uncle, Gary (Debbie) Ishmael, Carlisle; two nephews, Jadyn Tucker, Noah Patrick Tucker; niece, Jayce Tucker; and his many pets. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 22, at the River of Life Ministries by Pastor Krista Hampton with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Ryan King, Drew Page, Josh Marshall, Mark Christman, Jason Patrick, Timmy Tucker, Tommy Cope, and Ben Gesthaimer. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers and because of his life long love for animals, donations may be made to the Patrick Brannon Foundation for the Patrick Brannon Dog Park, c/o Kentucky Bank, P.O. Box 157, Paris, KY 40362.
