J. Russ Clark, Cynthiana, husband of Sue Clark, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. He was born in Woodford County, son of the late John F. and Mattie Allender Clark. Mr. Clark was a retired mechanical engineer and was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. He is also survived by a sister, Jessie Ginter, Versailles; brother, John M. Clark, Florida; stepdaughter, Tina (Charlie) Oliver, Bourbon County; special niece and nephew, Jim and Jean McKinney; and several other nieces and nephews. Russ was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Range, Frances Jordan; and two brothers, Granville and Morris Clark. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 14, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, Paris, by Bro. Ed Overbey and Dr. Greg Waltermire. Casket bearers will be D.A. Edester, Vernon Baber, Bob Varble, Donald Flora, Leonard Turner, Merle Jackson, Tom Overbey, Ron Cook, and Ron Balcom. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday.
