James Edward Gross, 76, Bryan Station Road, Gainesway Farm manager, husband of Nancy Bogie Gross, died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at his home. He was born September 5, 1934 in Jackson, KY, son of the late Mitchell and Dora Trent Gross. He is also survived by a son, Jeff Gross; and a daughter, Renee Gross, both of Lexington; two grandchildren, Justin Gross, SGT Cody Gross; two great grandchildren, Cracelynn and Grant Gross; four sisters, Mae Watts, Danville, Norma Watts, Richmond, Zelma Starkey, Lexington, Eva Sebastian, Phoenix, AZ; and two brothers, Elmer Gross, Beattyville, and Bobby Gross, Lexington. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 24, at Bedford Acres Christian Church by Rev. David Casey. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 Thursday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
