James Henry Johnson, 75, Clinton Drive, a retired salesman, husband of Roberta Richardson Johnson, died Thursday, October 20, 2011 at his home. He was born December 18, 1935 in Greenfield, OH, son of Alice Rankin Johnson, Paris, and the late Roy Johnson. Jimmy was a graduate of North Middletown High School, a former member of Paris City Club, former member and secretary of Paris Civitan Club, former member of Bourbon County Sportsman Club, and was a member of Spears Mill Baptist Church. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Kathy Johnson, Paris; two sons, Frederick Allen (Heather) Johnson, Georgetown, James Edward (Kim) Johnson, Camano Island, WA; eight grandchildren, James R. Wilson, Casey Wilson, Nicholas Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Lily Johnson, Kristopher Johnson, Amanda Johnson, Cameron Johnson; a sister, Iva Garrison, Scott County; and four great grandchildren. A brother, Robert Ray Johnson, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 24, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. J.T. Rafferty with burial in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Casey Wilson, Jamie Wilson, Nicholas Johnson, Randy Garrison, Gayle Garrison, James Elam, and Ricky Wilson. Deacons of Spears Mill Baptist Church will serve as honorary bearers. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
