James "Jim" Plummer, 65, retired Claiborne Farm employee, died Monday, August 22, 2011 at his home. He was born February 4, 1946 in Bourbon County, son of the late Charles L. and Lizzie Fryman Plummer, a 1965 graduate of Bourbon County High School, and was a member of the First Church of God. He is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Adams, Tabatha (Samuel) Sams, both of Paris; a sister, Nina (Clyde) Parsons, Paris; a brother, Charles L. (Phyllis) Plummer, Lexington; seven grandchildren, Christopher Henderson, Nathan Morton, Elizabeth Ishmael, Judith Gail, Danielle Harney, Delissa Nicole, Daniel Adams; a great grandson, Jericho Henderson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 26, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Bishop John Plummer with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Harry Harp, Jim Turner, Ronnie Tipton, Ronnie Yazell, Harold Davis, and Wayne Clem. Honorary bearers will be Edmond Boyle, Dr. Murray West, Dr. Richard West, Zack Fryman, Tyler Fryman, Chris Henderson, Nathan Morton, Dustin Vanderpool, Jimmy Toadvine, and his nieces.
