Janet Marie Lee Anderson, 47, a registered nurse, wife of Charles McKenna Anderson, Jr., died Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born April 28, 1962 in Calvary, KY, daughter of Mary Rita Able Lee, Calvary, and the late Lawrence Wilbur Lee, a graduate of the University of Kentucky School of Nursing, and was a member of the Catholic Church of the Annunciation. Janet had served as Director of Nurses at Bourbon Heights and Charge Nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two sons, Charles McKenna Anderson, III, Jonathan Lee Anderson; two sisters, Connie (Harold) Farmer, Lebanon, KY, Pam (Paul) Arbogast, Orangeburg, KY; three brothers, Dan (Leslie) Lee, Lexington, Glen (Debra) Lee, Lebanon, Alan (Judy) Lee, Casey County; and special friends and caregivers, Linda Nichols, Janie Armstrong, Renna Crepps, and Brenda Neal. The family expresses special appreciation to the nurses and aides of the TMU Floor and Open Heart Recovery at Jewish Hospital. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Ann Nally; and two brothers, Lawrence Joseph and Earl Francis Lee. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 10, at the Catholic Church of the Annunciation by Rev. John Curtis with burial in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Greg Lee, Brian Nally, Daniel Lee, Paul Arbogast, II, Robert Lee, and Steven Nally. Honorary bearers will be Dr. Kelly McCants, Susie Rodie, Bill Watson, Gary Sloan, Harry Park, Charles Woodford, Stacy Rakes, and Tracy Farmer. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
