Janet Lynn Kiser, 42, Darley Drive, Lexington, wife of Donald W. Kiser, Jr., died Monday, August 10, 2009 at Central Baptist Hospital. She was born November 12, 1966 in Lexington, daughter of the late Robin Clay and Mabel Simpson Burdine. She is also survived by a stepson, Donald W. Kiser, III; a sister, Susie B. Cummins; and a nephew, Matthew Simpson. She was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Alan Burdine. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, August 13, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. T. David Redish with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Shawn Kiser, Danny Barnes, Craig McAneley, Jeff Cassity, Craig Phinney, Garry Lee, and Matthew Simpson. Honorary bearers will be Ed Cummins, Gary Burdine, and David Travis. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
