Kenneth "Woody" Glass, 71, Lexington, husband of Emma "Lou" Hughes Glass, retired Keeneland Security Guard, died Friday, September 28, 2007. He was born July 31, 1936 in Nicholas County, son of the late William Albert "Bill" and Addie Mae Helphenstine Glass, attended Nicholas County schools, and was a former member of the Army Reserve. Mr. Glass is also survived by a son, Sterling Glass; two grandsons, Shawn and Steven Glass, all of Lexington; two sisters, Lillian Mulligan, Berea and Betty Fryman, Carlisle; and two brothers, Buford and Billy Ray Glass, both of Carlisle. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 3, 2007, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Donald "Buck" Riggs with entombment in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Robin Riggs, Randy Hughes, Josh Hughes, Steve Campbell, Sterling Glass, Jackie Glass, Shawn Glass, Forrest Palmer, L.T. Handy, and Bill Hughes. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
