Lela Faye Osborne Duncan, 71, of Nicholasville and formerly of Paris, widow of Coleman Roger Duncan Jr., died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at her home. She was born May, 1939 in Paris, daughter of the late Clarence Adrian and Wanona Martin Osborne and attended Midway College. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Annette (Phillip) Duncan, Versailles; a son, Larry Douglas Duncan, Georgetown; four grandchildren, Crystal Faye (Shaun) Compton, Travis Wayne Evans, Kayla Renee Duncan, Brian M. Noel; and three great grandchildren, Madison Brook Evans, Keaton Ray Stevens, and Dakota Wayne Evans. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy McCann; and a brother, Robert W. Osborne. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thu, April 14, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Phillip Kincaid, Travis Evans, Marvin Barker, James H. White, Brian M. Noel, Ray Duncan Jr., and Chad Duncan. Honorary bearers will be Crystal Compton, Travis Wayne Evans, and Kayla Renee Duncan. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
