Linda Darlene Watson, 53, of Nicholasville and formerly of Paris, an employee of Holiday Inn, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at her home. She was born May 3, 1958 in Paris, daughter of James M. Watson, Paris, and the late Mildred Sharp Brown. Darlene is survived by her father, James M. (Rachel) Watson, Paris; a sister, Mary Frances McCarty, Lexington; two brothers, James M. Watson III, William Carlos Watson, both of Lexington; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 27, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Curtis Coots with burial in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Shawn Hines, Michael Buchanan, Robert Combest, Gary Michael Berryman, Brent Watson, and Robert Hayslett. Honorary bearers will be Nathan Williams and Ricky Whitaker. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Friday. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504.
