Linda Williams, 60, a certified medical assistant, wife of Cliff Williams, died Sunday, April 12, 2015 at her home. She was born February 24, 1955 in Atlanta, Georgia, daughter of the late Norman Eugene and Annis Woodham Freese. Linda was a graduate of Westport High School in Louisville and received an Associate of Science Degree in Medical Assisting Technology from Eastern Kentucky University. She was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, Kentucky Society of Medical Assistants, American Association of Medical Assistants, and Ruddles Mill Christian Church. In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by a daughter, Lindsay Jean (Zachery) Jones, Paris; two sons, Clifton Tyler (Alyssa) Williams, Russell Springs, Craig Spencer (Amy) Williams, Greenwood, South Carolina; and two grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Williams and Adrian Tyler Williams. She was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Carrie Freese. A Celebration of Life will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at Ruddles Mill Christian Church by Rev. John McGuire. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home.
